Kristen Peterson, M.A, CCC-SLP
Kristen is a nationally and state of Florida licensed, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She was awarded her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from the University of Central Florida. Kristen has worked in private practice since 2007 treating children as young as 1 year-old through adulthood. She has been a private contractor in rehabilitation centers, charter schools (including elementary, middle, and high school levels), private schools, and private home visits. Her practice focuses on a variety of disorders impacting speech and language including developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory processing dysfunction, auditory processing, articulation, fluency, oral motor deficits, and cognitive disorders. She has led social skills groups for children and young adults. Her treatment is through play-based therapy and a collaborative approach with occupational therapists. She has been a resident of Indialantic since 1992. Kristen and her husband have raised two children in our beachside community. Leslie Horn, M.S, CCC-SLP
Leslie is nationally and state of Florida licensed American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech language pathologist. She was awarded her Master of Science degree from the Florida State University.
Leslie has 30+ years of experience working with young children in the schools, clinic, preschools, and home therapy settings. She believes therapy for young children must be fun and functional. Leslie has been a speech-language pathologist at Beachside Speech Therapy since 2021.

Stephanie Steger, M.A. CCC-SLP
Stephanie is a nationally and state of Florida licensed, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She was awarded her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the University of Central Florida. Stephanie has 25+years of experience working with children as young as 14 months old to 18 years old in various settings including their homes, schools, childcare centers and in private practice. She is well-experienced in a variety of treatment methods, selecting those that best meet your child’s needs. Stephanie is the owner of Beachside Speech Therapy.

Melissa Hudson, OTR/L
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 1985. She is currently licensed in the states of Florida and Ohio and holds her national certification from NBCOT. Melissa has over 34 years of clinical experience and has worked with children for the majority of her career. She has worked in the public school setting for the past 8 years, seeing children from preschool through high school ages. Melissa has also worked in Early Intervention, providing home services to children ages birth to three. She is excited to share her experience in treating sensory processing dysfunction, fine motor deficits and developmental delays. Melissa and her husband Lou are originally from Milford Ohio and have two adult daughters (Meredith and Mariah) who continue to reside in the Buckeye State.
